During the month of September, GSA Inspector General Brian D. Miller presented “Fighting Fraud Waste, and Abuse” at several regional Intergovernmental Audit Forums, organized by the U.S. Government Accountability Office. IG Miller provided accountability professionals training on the role of federal inspectors general and the use of anti-fraud detection techniques.
These presentations are part of an outreach effort to prevent, detect, and deter procurement fraud at all levels of government. This outreach has promoted communication, coordination, and cooperation among accountability professionals to foster effectiveness and efficiency of government oversight.
