The following matters are generally not investigated by the GSA OIG:

- Personnel Action Appeals
- Government Vehicle Misuse or Reckless Driving
- Technical Issues with GSA Systems (e.g., SAM)
- Complaints Involving Other Federal Agencies
- General GSA Questions Not Related to Fraud, Waste, or Abuse

What TO Report to the Hotline
You may report waste, fraud, abuse, or misconduct relating to a GSA employee, program, or contract to the OIG Hotline. The OIG generally investigates the following matters:
- Embezzlement, bribery, or public corruption involving GSA programs or operations, including contracts
- Serious mismanagement involving GSA programs or operations, including contracts
- Fraud, waste, or abuse involving GSA employees or contractors
- Whistleblower reprisal (See more information below about whistleblower retaliation complaints)
- Conflicts of interest
- Contract and procurement issues
- Theft or misuse of government property
- Employee misconduct
- Ethics violations by GSA officials

Whistleblower Retaliation Complaints
- GSA Employees, Former Employees, or Applicants
- If you were retaliated against for reporting violations of law, gross waste or mismanagement, abuse of authority, or threats to public health or safety, you may file a whistleblower retaliation complaint with the U.S. Office of Special Counsel or with GSA OIG, using the whistleblower retaliation form.
- GSA Contractor Employees
- If you were retaliated against for reporting violations of law, gross waste or mismanagement, abuse of authority, or threats to public health or safety, you may file a whistleblower retaliation complaint with GSA OIG, using the whistleblower retaliation form.
